It has taken over a year of hard work, but I got Apocalypse in Marvel Strike Force.
I am so thrilled with this. Now I can compete against the most powerful players, which will take me to the game’s top level. I am not a competitive player but when you are near the top you get rewards that help you level up other characters and make the game more enjoyable.
This isn’t to brag but rather to share that when you work on something diligently you will achieve success. There were so many small parts to getting this. The game has a gambling element with rewards, and I was not lucky in getting rewards. Many people got him before I did. I was determined to get him without buying upgrades that would have made the process easier. I could not have been able to do this without watching very helpful YouTube Marvel Strike Force experts like @ValleyfFlyin and the guests that he has on his show.
Part of the problem that I had in the game was that I didn’t fully understand how to choose characters that weren’t a waste. I upgraded/invested in several characters that were dead ends. The game didn’t use them after that particular mission. You have to be very strategic with the way you invest your time/resources. If you aren’t, then you won’t progress and you certainly won’t be among the top 1% of players. The reward for being at the top is that you can play with many more characters and it’s a fun puzzle to put them together to figure out how to accomplish the objective.
It is true that some of the characters I upgraded in the past may be useful at some point in the future. It seems as though the developer redoes the makeup of the characters when new content is created. So they do a good job in my opinion of keeping most characters viable and the game fresh. I have really enjoyed playing this game and I like how my team has been supportive as well. Today when I got this my teammate told me good job and that feels good as well.
I really have enjoyed working with my new team and I appreciate their support. I hope my old team is doing ok but if not, they find teams that help them more. The thing about life is staying flexible, and you can get yourself into very good situations.
