You will feel better if you avoid: dairy, corn, wheat, sugar

One of the challenging things of being a Highly sensitive person is that food can often make you feel sick. This is what I have learned from experience.

My doctor told me today to avoid diary, corn, wheat and sugar. She said those things increase inflammation and that was part of the problem in my past as a child. I hate too many of those things because they were cheap, and it made me feel sick and get sick.

I shared before that when I started to avoid dairy I felt incredible. No more random aches or pains. This was when I was a teenager. When I avoided corn I felt even more alert and energetic. When I avoided wheat I didn’t feel upset stomach as much, and when I avoided sugar I stopped having sugar cravings. It was amazing.

We crave the things that are not helpful to us. We misunderstand that our sugar craving is really a desire for fruit. That our feeling of emptiness is due to our emotional state, and we try to fill ourselves with things instead of asking ourselves to be honest. Honesty is hard, but dishonesty will never satisfy you or make you content.

The answer is always inside ourselves.
