I am wondering if my HP Omnibook X is causing AVD to drop.
Almost everyday AVD drops and I can’t think it is this bad. Its possible. I told ChatGPT the symptoms and it suggested that I update the drivers, already updated to the latest, and disable power saving on the wife device hardware. I just did that.
If this fixes the problem I will feel pretty silly for not dealing with this earlier. Normally it just faded out for a second, and it was after a few minutes of not using it and thinking about what I wanted to respond.
If this doesn’t solve it, then I will continue to troubleshoot it and share with you. I can’t remember that HP laptops have had network issues but to be fair this is the first one that I have used AVD almost 8 hours a day so its not a fair comparison.
I also asked ChatGPT if this model had complaints about wife reliability and it said a few but generally highly regarded. I wonder if this is just a power setting issue. I hope it is. I love this laptop otherwise.
