No I am not trying to sell this projector, just share my experience in case it helps anyone. I am using it with two computers for the first time and so far it is working very well.
I have two HDMI cables going to it and I simply press on the source button to switch between them. It happens pretty quickly about 3 seconds or so. Is there a downside? Well as I said originally the biggest downside to me for this projector is that it is louder than my previous one, but it has far more benefits.
Today for example there is no sun so the image looks even more crisp. Even during sunny days however it is bright and with 5000 lumen it is the best projector I have ever used.
I don’t use the built in speakers to it because the laptop sound much better. I turn it on standby when I don’t use it. I guess I should turn it off but it is rated for 24/7 operation and I am curious and kind of testing that out.
What would be ideal is if I could have two sources at the same time but I haven’t found anything in my price range that can do that. This was about $2600 when I purchased it last year and for me that was the best I could find for the features. I still love it and use it everyday.
I am thinking of buying a projector screen that can be tucked away so that the screen isn’t so dominate all the time in the room. However this is really a minor issue and I don’t feel any urgency in doing so. It would make it prettier but pretty is very low on my list of needs.
