Today for the second time in a week I asked for a solution from ChatGPT and it suggested something ugly and complex, and I asked from Gemini the same query and it suggested two better options with the ChatGPT in third. It was very helpful.
Now I will investigate if the two solutions might be a better fit. I am increasingly using multiple AI’s as I work. It seems that there are critical flaws in finding information from every AI I have used. ChatGPT/Gemini seems to search the web the best, but interestingly Perplexity had a useful answer as well. If this continues, I will move away from ChatGPT. I am not impressed with Claude at all.
Is there a downside of Gemini compared to ChatGPT? Sure it isn’t as fast. Sometimes it is overly chatty and ChatGPT can be straight to the point. Still this is a preference and some might like the more human style that Gemini represents. I don’t like Google as a company, and I don’t like how they treat people. Still if the tool is useful I am going to use it.
