
Today I was torn between my habits and my priorities.
I love to have habits and do things automatically. Like I always brush my teeth after a meal. I don’t have to motivate myself, it is just a habit.
However today I had lots of priority items and I couldn’t do my normal habit. You see I like to write a post before I start my day, but since that didn’t happen my day had to adjust.
I don’t have anyone to blame but myself. I woke up late because I was tired. Doing your best is tiring. So when my post is late today this is the reason. Again I am not trying to make an excuse, but rather say that I prefer to have a habit instead of having to motivate myself to do something.
When things are habits they are easy. This book by Stephen Covery helped me developed habits that have helped me all of my life. It is one of the most helpful books I have ever read. If you have a hard time with habits, this book will help you.
