This is the game that I am playing and I am not trying to sell them, just think this is interesting to share.
The envoys said that it would be browser based and that would be amazing. I am playing it through the Mumu emulator, and while that works, it can be less than perfect. Many Marvel Strike Force players play with emulators and their are glitches and problems by doing so.
Mumu isn’t perfect either but works well for the most part. I can’t type to my teammates however and I have to go to the iPad to do that. Its a downside, but not a show stopper. It was more reliable than other Android emulators that I tried that are popular.
The fact is that by doing it through a web page it could increase the quality of the game and not have it be so dependent on its original mobile device origins. It can make it a non issue to sync, and increase sales and marketing as well. It would be a win/win for everyone.
If that happens I will delete the emulator. There is no need to do that when the web page functionality could work. I do love having things online, even if that means that when the internet goes down you can’t play games. I love not being forced to constantly update it as we do now with the emulator, and that to me is worth the trade-off. Nothing is perfect in life, but if you can get rid of the work to do something fun, it makes it more enjoyable.
Will this increase their popularity? I don’t think so. They still are making plenty of mistakes in terms of game direction, content and lots of issues. I don’t see much of a future for the game, but it fun as long you don’t take it too seriously.
