Mental health is important

My favorite Marvel Strike Force content creator @valleyflyin shared yesterday about mental health. It was touching.

It is not easy culturally for men to admit that mental health can be a challenge. He is using his platform to help others as he always done, and I wanted to give it him props for doing that.

Many men like myself look up to him for his positive attitude and willingness to be helpful to others. He like a challenge, obvious he cares for his family and had friendships with other Marvel Strike Force content creators. What a great example he is.

He has shared before that at times his mood isn’t what he wants it to be. He said in the past that being positive was part of his personality and his attitude and energy changes peoples lives. I see it in the comments. People love him for this and when you are around positive people your own life is enhanced.

I have been told that I am a positive person and I enjoy being able to encourage others as well. While I don’t have the platform he does, it doesn’t matter. We all have our part in the world, and sometimes our influence and helpfulness can spread in ways that are not easily seen/measured.

This isn’t about me, but rather that a positive example is appreciated and helps others. As much as possible, look at life for all of the things that are going well not just the challenges you are having. Challenges pass, but how we handle them says everything about our character and directly improves others lives.
