
One of the things that I think we forget at work is that when the team looks good, everyone wins.
Why am I sharing this? I once worked at a company that had a problem that was complex and took several months to address. Many team members worked on it but it was still an issue. I did some research to learn myself so I could be helpful and made a suggestion that contributed toward the path to solving the problem. It made me feel good.
You don’t have to know everything at work nor does anyone expect you to know everything. Being professional is being able to discover the answers and work with the rest of your intelligent peers.
I have been lucky to work with some smart people and have learned many helpful things from them. Consider yourself lucky if you think your coworkers are smarter than you because you will learn a lot from them. Good teamwork is always the key for every successful company.
