Since the iPad was hurting my eyes (see earlier post today), I gave it just now to a friend. They love it.

They needed an iPad for their job. The old iPad they had was too old to run the newest iOS version and it couldn’t run the apps they needed.

I feel good giving the iPad away. Now it won’t hurt my eyes, and it will also help me to limit my screen time.

Isn’t it funny that devices that buy that we think will help us like electronics actually hurt us?

It isn’t the fault of the device. Tablets are fine for some people. For me, they cause my eye strain when I am tempted to play the game too much and look at the small screen. Now that it is on my computer I can play it and not strain my eyes. It would be better if there was a native version of the app, but I guess that is asking too much isn’t it?

This is probably the last game that I am going to play. I don’t find most games to be enjoyable. Most games are derivative and seem like a chore to do. Some famous players have quit because they find it repetitive. I am not at that stage yet. I played an online game that was similar where you leveled up your character and I found it enjoyable for the most part. The worst part of the online game was that other players would be jerks and make it difficult for you to play. So that turned me off to most online gaming.

I want peace in my life and I don’t engage with drama. I will pull back and away from anything in life that has too much drama. Life is too short to allow other peoples issues to disturb your happiness. I should have given up the iPad before now. Now two people are happy.
