If you ever told yourself when you were younger that you would make better decisions than your parents, now is the time to prove it.
As a child I saw many of the mistakes that adults around me made. Its human to make mistakes, and it is also human to learn from them. I learned from the mistakes of those older than me, and I won’t make them in my life.
So it was with some surprise that people saw someone behaved in public, and then gave them a chance to behave the same way again. It baffles me that when people show you who they are, you don’t believe them.
I believe it when people show me who they are. I don’t need to be told twice that someone is cruel, and I don’t support or respect people who have lost their sense of humanity.
Anyone who can’t respect others basic humanity has forfeit the right for others to respect their basic humanity. Those people without hearts are a blight to society, and while they are not inhuman or subhuman, they don’t deserve any positions of power.
People who are cruel love power, and those who are kind are concerned about potentially abusing it. We need to change or society so that the cruel can no longer control positions of power. We require safety from the mistakes of the population electing leaders who don’t have their best interests at heart.
Do whatever it takes legally and respectfully to be kind to other. Regardless of what the consequences are.
