I see alot of online hate towards others who don’t think the way the poster feels. I don’t understand this.
What I do understand is that people are frustrated that they are not getting what they want. What is most frustrating for most people, is when we see people act in ways that are contrary to their own self-interests.
Many YouTube videos show people saying and doing things that contradict the situation they are in personally. Yet they still “believe” in someone who is creating a reality that hurts them.
I shared earlier a video that said “You can’t fix stupid. You can’t heal toxic. Loving someone more doesn’t make them love you back. The day you realize this you will be free.” I was really impressed with that because I thought all three of those things at one time. I thought you could educate people but you can’t. They have to be ready to be educated. You can’t fix someone who wants to hurt others, and others choose whom they love no matter what you do for them.
As fellow human beings all we can do for others is to be patient, forgive those who only see life through their limited point of view. Who don’t care about the welfare of all, even though they say words like Everyone’s rights matter instead of Black lives matter.
This is not to point fingers, but to accept blame. We all have been guilty of contributing to an environment in which cruelty, stupidity and anger controls the decisions. Now we have to find a better way. That starts in how we treat each other.
