This is not to brag but to share that life has its timing.
I was chatting with one recruiter and it was a few minutes before I had an appointment for an interview with another recruiter. I thought if I said things quickly I could take care of them and then keep my appointment. While talking, the other person called that I had my appointment a few minutes early. I asked the first recruiter to hold and I accidentally hung up on her. When I talked to the second they had to reschedule and then I called the first recruiter back.
This has happened more than once. I am fortunate that I have multiple recruiters who are interested. It makes me feel good when my skills can be helpful to someone. I always try to be as helpful as I can and it’s fun to work and learn and grow as an employee.
I think the next time that I get a second call I will just let it go to voice mail.
