I bought two solar generators in the past. I found out yesterday that one company went out of business, and the other companies product is defective.
Now I won’t mention their names but I had problems with the defective one since I bought it. I asked the company to return it, and they didn’t. Hence why I am not giving them free advertising.
I gave that solar generator to a friend and it helped them. When they lost power in their building, they were able to use that device to power up their FIOS modem/computer and continue working as normal. They have done this three times and it worked out well.
Now with my device when the company that went out of business I only had one minor error and that was my fault. I let the solar panel get wet and it got an error (short) it said and when it dried out the solar panel was fine again. The unit continued to work great.
The unit continues to work great and I am thrilled that I have it. It has saved me many times when power has gone out in whatever apartment I am in, and I can continue working. It has also protected an expensive TV/game system from power issues as well.
The unit I have says that it could last for 10 years. I have used it for about 5 and in my mind it has already paid for itself. Feeling confident that I still have power and can charge my iPhone gives me great peace of mind, so i will always have some kind of backup power system.
So then it sounds like I am saying that I have gotten a good value from these systems. It is exactly what I am saying. They both were about 1k each and while I was not rich, it was worth investing in them to experience the benefits. I found this out because I wanted to see what new models my favorite might have, but when their website was down I started to fear they went out of business. I was disappointed when I found out that was the case.
I had to delete my previous articles about them since it would only frustrate users who read that. The product has been excellent. It really was everything that I hoped for, and I would buy from the designers or engineers of that product line again.
Enjoy things in life because we don’t know their lifespan.
