Created another laptop with Fedora Linux

I know this probably sounds weird to people, but I have missed using Fedora Linux.

Why have I missed it? I think it is the most beautiful OS that I have ever used. Even more beautiful than the Mac OS and that is really something for me to admit to. It really makes things look good and I have less errors/problems using it than the Mac even.

Did I buy another computer? That is just ridiculous I hear you say. Yes it would be ridiculous since I bought a laptop earlier this year. No, I didn’t buy one, apparently another computer was abandoned to me.

I had worked with a consulting company and asked them several times how to ship the computer back to them but they never responded to it, so I guess its mine. This is the second company that hasn’t cared to get a laptop returned to them that was used. Its interesting accounting to say the least.

So it was an easy matter to disable safe boot and erase the drive with a Windows 11 installer USB drive and then use a USB Fedora boot to install it. It happened pretty quickly about 20ish minutes. Then I spent another 30 to update the firmware and update the OS. I was lazy and didn’t want to remake the USB boot drive.

Now I have three laptops on my desk, and my gaming laptop is on my secondary desk that I connect to with Getscreen. I might move this to my secondary desk and connect to it through Getscreen. Then I would have control of 3 independent computers from my main laptop. Oh the power. :)

The future is that hardware will be a non issue, and software will be the way that increases our efficiency. Having a mac, Windows 11 and now a Linux back in rotation makes me feel really good about being able to address/test any technical issue.
