Turns out that the power was restored yesterday and it feels wonderful to be back to civilization again.
What did I learn? That I was underprepared with the amount of emergency water that I needed. It is said you need 1 gallon of water per day to drink, but washing your hands, cleaning take far more. You should times ten the recommendation. From now on I will be storing 30 gallons of water to cover 3 days for me.
Glad to be back to work. I was a little bored honestly having an unexpected day off. I took a nap and meditated about my life. Not a bad thing to do more often.
