It just occured to me that I think that many Linkedin users are secretly a Klingon with a species change operation.

Why do I say this? What do we read about on LinkedIn? Stories of duty, honor, and loyality. All Klingon values. Lets look at this more deeply.

“I woke up at 4:30 and ran and then did more work before 7 than most people do all day.” – Duty and pride here.

“I am honored to have worked with this company even though they fired me when they couldn’t make even more profits that I helped them make.” – Loyality mixed with a bit of stupidity.

“I must do my job, no matter how sick I am because I integrity and I will put the company ahead of me.” – Duty and some psychological issues.

“I am going to share this funny meme and say things that everyone agrees with.” – Not challenging a corrupt structure. Very Klingon like.

“I am showing my prowess in battle by getting education and certifications and walking through the line of pain sticks.” – Klingons love pain.

“Who needs time off and vactions, I will do whatever it takes to overproduce so that I feel that I didn’t make a mistake getting a college debt I won’t ever be able to payoff.” – Duty and self-delusion

Yes, the more I think about it, LinkedIn might be the most Klingon social media site.
