Every video on YouTube is like, you can do this yourself and save lots of money. It is only three easy steps.
One: Buy the materials
Two: Make a plan
Three: Have an expensive tool or skill that you don’t have to easily do it.
I just watched a video where a guy used a drill that cost probably a thousand dollars to drill through a huge rock to make a rock water fountain. I was like, oh yeah I can buy/rent that and know how to drill through rock easily just like he did.
You can watch someone and copy what they do, but you can’t copy their skill. It seems easy to drill a rock, but I have tried in the past and it is hard work. You have to be strong, have the right bit, safety gear and so many other things. Nothing is as simple as it seems.
I like making things too but it’s often unrealistic that skilled people show unskilled people how easy something is. Maybe easy for you, but not for the rest of us.
