24 hours later and eyes are improved

My eyes are less red than they have been for weeks. Not looking at an iPad and moving the mobile game to my computer has improved eye comfort.

Another side effect is that when things are convenient like an tablet, we may overuse them too much. At least I did. Let me give you an example.

When I wake up in the morning I play the mobile game. This morning I went to grab the iPad by routine but since it wasn’t available and I remembered, I just went back to sleep. Normally I would have stayed awake but instead I got 3 extra hours of sleep. Perhaps some of my eye dryness was waking up too early.

Yesterday I also did the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes the eye doctor said to look away for 20 seconds at least 20 feet. I have been doing that and and batting my eyes like a damsel in distress. It feels ridiculous but my eyes look almost normal now. I was so pleased that my efforts had a good effect.

I wrote earlier about ways to improve your eye health here. Those are still valid and have enabled me to work longer than I should. I am really curious about things and so I find an infinite number of things to research. To me life is so wonderful and we are so fortunate to be here in this moment. Nothing is ideal, but we can be healthy if we choose to be so. I choose to be so.
