If you read the last post you probably are surprised I’m writing this one. Well hang on to your cowboy hats boys and girls.
I don’t believe in this or that. So if I can’t be a Republican, I can’t be a Democrat either.
What are the problems with being a Democrat? Well first, how hated and ineffective are you when someone who is a convinced felon is able to win the presidency against your candidate?
I don’t want to hear arguments placing the blame on the voters. The voters are always free to choose who they want. If you haven’t shown your value, then how sad is that?
What is even more sad is that while society has improved in some ways it has also gotten worse. We have growing inequality and that is something that continues to widen and threatens the entire society. We have record numbers of people who hate the US and for good reason.
We all created the situation we are in. Don’t you dare put the blame on other people. If both parties scapegoat each other, when does it ever change? Can’t one politician say “Yes we as Democrats/Republicans had some terrible ideas that didn’t work out as we wanted. We will do better and this is how.”
I don’t want analysis or reasons for the past. I like everyone else want steps that can be done today to improve the quality of life for all US citizens and immigrants. Everyone who has helped contribute to make the US what it is, deserves to be rewarded.
Now if that makes me a terrible person I can live with your judgment. I don’t care about labels, I want practical, humanitarian results today.
