I have two teams instances and a microphone to do my job.
Why? I have two computers that I am currently using for work. One is from the client, and the other is to connect to the consulting company. This is how I have been working for the past several years.
So since most people use teams instead of email now, I have them up and on my personal computer I do the research to find the answers to their specific issues.
Where does the microphone come in? The Sonos Ace headset has the built in microphone which is excellent and the best I have used. I just love that headset. It is clearly the best I have ever used.
Why did I think of Beck? I randomly think of stuff, and it hit me when I was thinking of the title for this story.
Now since I have been using Teams for years it seems pretty familiar, and i’m even learning some of the shortcuts in how Teams works. I am not fond of Teams. I rather liked Zoom. I think once you start having an all in one application, it is just inviting complexity/problems. I have said some problems I have had with teams before. It is my nemesis and I hate how unreliable it has become over time.
For that reason I use the web teams as much as possible since it seems to have less issues on the macOS. However since I am helping test the clients setup, I am using the Teams local app which is not my preference but you do what helps the client.
With two teams, at least one is working, so that makes my two is one and one is none theory happy. Oh back down to 1 since AVD is on the blink again. Speak of the devil. Oh its coming back. Man I could do this all day with computer problems. Meanwhile my mac teams and directly connected without AVD is working great. Fun times and job security in IT right?
