Today apparently I have lots of things to share about Marvel Strike Force. I didn’t plan it, it just happened.
Why do I say this? Part of the game involves going through what are called Dark Dimensions. This is a series of individual battles that are almost impossible. It takes a very special set of skills to win and you have to find a way to get those skills if you don’t have them.
Today however that is not the issue. Today I have the resources to get through it because I have beat it already. I beat it on the weekend and now beating it for a second time gets additional rewards.
Now I told you all of that to tell you this. Parts of the game allow you to hit the Auto play button and if you have the required elements, you will win the battle. That is what I am currently doing. Some of the battles are very long and time consuming. You can walk away make a sandwich, do laundry or other tasks and come back and its still playing. That’s how difficult many of these battles are. It would be an exhausting game if this Auto was not available. This is what I am doing now and have been doing in writing these posts today.
Now you could legitimately say, you aren’t playing the game so that doesn’t sound like much fun. That is true and not true. It is true I am not actively playing it, but passively playing it. I have learned from watching YouTube videos that there are games that you passively play and like this, you set things to auto play and it plays and you check in with the results. This sounds more like a scientific experiment than enjoying a game.
I accept this Auto part of the game because it is usually a small part of the total playing. I like to be active and make decisions. That is why this game appealed to me. It allowed me to make decisions on how to manage my resources and it is called a “resource management” game. I had never played one of these before. It is interesting. It kind of reminds me of Civilization or games like that.
In life, sometimes you don’t have to do something to get a result you just have to wait. Be aware of these opportunities. They can teach you patience has its own rewards.
