As a creative person I have noticed that people who can’t create like to destroy.
It makes them feel powerful to eliminate the hard work that other people have done. Yet they never offer a better alternative, and ultimately their life is a waste of time and energy.
At every moment of our lives we have the choice to either make the world a better place, or destroy it. Many people choose chaos and destruction.
I understand why. Their impotent lives make them feel that they have no other way to express power than by mindless destruction. Everyone is poorer for it.
It takes someone who cares to make a better world. Why do we elect people who don’t care?
