Often we need less than we think we do

It is amazing how often what we think and what we need are two separate things.

For example, I bought some new pillows since they had gotten too old. In the process of some of the pillows arriving in the mail, I ordered some cheap pillows from Costco since my neck was hurting.

Why did I order pillows when I had pillows on the way? The first company when I called them didn’t know when they would ship, and my neck pain was causing me problems to move/rotate my head.

I bought from a brand I had a good experience with before Sealy. I had bought one of their office chairs for about $150 a decade prior and it was the most comfortable office chair I had until my current one. I loved that chair. So when I had a chance to buy from that brand again, I jumped at the chance.

Once again Sealy came through. The pillow stopped my neck pain the next morning and it was fantastic. The much more expensive pillow was uncomfortable to me and frankly was a waste of money for me.

Life teaches that that often we need less than we think we do to be happy and healthy.
