
I have used Azure Virtual Desktop and it works very well.
I have also used AWS Workspaces and that works very well as well.
They are both fun to use. As a consultant I get to use them often to connect to clients and to help troubleshoot things.
One of the things that I enjoy the most is that I don’t have to worry about security as much when I use them. They generally are only done by companies that have the resources to provide aggressive security.
Now with that said they aren’t perfect. There is sometimes a tinge of latency and you quickly get used to that. Still if I had a choice I’d rather have a remote desktop than a local one. It would be easier for my environment to follow me around rather than have to adjust to the standard and less eff
