I had a problem with Teams yesterday crashing and not allowing me to join meetings in AVD. I opened a ticket with the IT support and then today I saw on my ticket I was told to follow up with another team but no real contact information on how to do that.
So instead of contacting the other team, I thought I would try it to see if it has the same problem. Nope it works! So I am thrilled.
Then I started thinking how many times in my IT career a problem happened and while I was investigating the cause, the problem resolved itself. Its a good feeling when things work, and IT sometimes gets undeserved credit. I have told clients that I didn’t fix it, but in their minds they called IT and then the problem disappeared so IT fixed it. Ok then.
Sometimes you are blamed for things you don’t do, and sometimes you get credit for things you didn’t do.
