Its cool outside and so its cool for me today.
I’m not complaining. It has been very educational living with a south facing window for the past year. I have enjoyed it for the most part.
What I have enjoyed the most is that I was very warm in winter due to the building being modern and well insulated. The downside is that when days are warmer than 70 it gets to be 80 inside.
I can’t use the AC because it is part of an air exchange system and the heat is still on. Running the AC and the heat at the same time can cause it to burst and flood the downstairs apartment. We have been warned this is the consequence.
I could open the window but that would let the noise from the nearby Interstate in. Which is less of a problem now that I have the old Pelton. However today is is cool and that is a nice change of pace.
It is cool because it is raining which is really nice. It has been very heavy pollen and there was a think layer of yellow on the cars yesterday. I was going to get it washed but then I decided against it to save money.
Now the car will look great when it is done raining and everything will be cleaner and fresh. I just love the rain.
I have also bought some cool clothing to wear and a cheap fan. I can make it until they turn the heat off at the end of this month and then AC here we go!
