This photo is one that had the background removed by the free website https://www.remove.bg/

When I uploaded and saved it to LinkedIn, it turns out that the default background color of the profile photos is black. Now why would MS do that? So then I reimported the removed background photo in ChatGPT and asked it to add a white background. It did that and then I have the LinkedIn Photo I have now.
Now this was a terrible experience. ChatGPT idea of a professional LinkedIn Profile photo was to make me look unrecognizable with facial edits and fake clothes. It really was horrible. I looked like a banker from the 90s which it recognized when I told it repeatedly no.
The other part that bothered me about this process is how ChatGPT didn’t obey me when I told it what I wanted. I repeatedly told it I didn’t want any facial processing, and it ignored me. I had to tell it 3 times before it listened and did what I said for it to do. That isn’t helpful, that is being stubborn.
I also used the crop option in LinkedIn. LinkedIn image had limited options. Very poor choices for people who depend on looking nice. Not everyone can afford a professional head shot. Lots of people live in rural areas and don’t have those kind of professionals handy.
