I had a cold that I couldn’t seem to shake. I went to the doctor and she told me that it was due to the humidifier and treated me.
I turned the humidifier off and drained it and now I am wondering what to do. I talked with a friend who wants the new one and I cleaned it with Clorox again which apparently isn’t enough. The doctor said that letting it stand for 30 minutes with water/vinegar is a better solution to clean it.
The humidifier had some wonderful benefits but now that it has caused this problem I am not sure what to do. I did some research and there are self-cleaning models and so I am going to see what the experience of those are for people.
I really like feeling the moisture but I have to find a way to deal with the bacteria. I will keep you posted.
