Apparently very stupid. I get stupid emails/texts all the time.
Once when I was using dating sites long ago I asked the person where they lived and I told them where I lived. When I said where I lived they said they didn’t know it, but when they shared where they lived they said it was the same neighborhood and then mentioned a street in that neighborhood. I blocked them.
I think that too often we believe what we want to believe at our determent. We have to challenge what we are told because if its just what we want to hear, its probably a scam.
Texts have been completely destroyed of credibility for a long time. I don’t know anyone who thinks that sending a text is going to get a response. It never does from me. It is a waste of time to respond.
What bothers me the most is that so many people fall for stupid tricks. Its like people hate thinking so much that they will risk their health, savings and their life to avoid thinking. I have never understood that impulse.
Thinking can be hard, but not thinking is ultimately harder in life.
