When I was growing up the local mall had a dancing competition. I choose a popular song and I went out and gave it my all. In fact I was so vigorous that the clothes line that I was using extended when I shook it at the audience and I thought I was going to smack the audience by accident.
Fortunately that didn’t happen. As I saw it extend I moved back and even if I hadn’t moved back it wouldn’t have hit anyone. Everyone was surprised and laughed as though I had planned it. I just acted as though that was part of my act.
After the contest was done some people came up to me and said that they liked the effect and was surprised at it. I laughed and said well I was just giving it my all.
I never entered any more dance contests. I didn’t want to hurt any innocent bystanders.
