For me 1680×1050 might be best

If you use an Android emulator, running your computer at 1680×1050 might work best for you.

Now the MuMu android application is running at 1600×900. Why the difference? It is easy. When it had the same resolution as the screen it looked worse. It had screen tearing and looked lower quality. At the built-in resolution it looks sharp.

How does this affect my projector that maxes out at 1900×1024? It looks great on the projector. In fact the text is the sharpest it has ever been.

What I love about the text is that even though it is bright outside right now, it is clearer than when I was using the zoom at 125% to make the text larger. I moved the zoom in Brave to 150% and it is so large and clear that I can use it without any difficulty sitting at least 6 feet away from a 100 inch projected screen.

Now this doesn’t mean that I don’t want or will get a better projector. More light would improve the contrast and make games look nicer as well. However even with this cheap screen this is the best that text has looked on it and I am thrilled.

Another side effect is that the Strike Force game has less issues like scrolling not being precise, and freezing. I am excited that I may have found a more helpful resolution for the game. Even if it didn’t look good on the projector, I can’t use the projector due to the light everyday so having it look good on the screen is my first priority.
