I like to mix things up and lately I have been sharing lots of YouTube Shorts. It is exhausting to find them.
This isn’t a complaint but rather giving you insight into how I make my decisions. I try to find things that are factual and interesting. Often I run across very touching and meaningful things that give me hope and make me laugh.
I have gone from disliking YouTube shorts to liking them. They are interesting but there is alot of garbage out there.
When I am looking for a video to share I sometimes have an idea of what I’d like to find. I will often use the search function and then there are no shorts that feature that topic I want to cover. Rarely do I find something that I search for in shorts. That means that most of the time I can spend between a few minutes and several hours finding content.
This is why some days I only have 7 posts, and other days I have had as many as 15. I randomly put in search terms that I am curious about but I’d say they are largely ignored. I really get a random stream of content, and often I see the same things shown to me over and over.
As far as views go, the shorts can vary. Sometimes they get more than what I write, but often they get less. Generally what I write and the shorts get roughly the same amount of views. I am not concerned about views. Id rather impact people with new information than reinforce what is easy for them.
Today I took a break from videos. I did that on the weekend and I am tired of looking at videos. Tomorrow the videos will return.
