I watched an hour of the New York Times Podcast and I couldn’t believe how much BS I heard.
First I want to say that I fact checked everything that he said and shared it here, and only one thing he said was true.
What he said was true is that conservatism is a scam and they don’t have the power to give people what they promise.
Interestingly he said he didn’t vote, and is a former CEO himself, isn’t it interesting that he supports CEO’s being in power?
He knows some things about history, but he cherry picks what he shares. He likes to share big words and exotic concepts that most people may not know, so he is bluffing them into thinking he is smart. He called himself an “intellectual”. Not even. Intellectuals don’t need to call themselves that. Anything that anyone says about themselves is clearly false.
Yet people like J.D Vance and others know of him and he has been on many right wing talk shows. I think he appeals to people who want to go back to the idea that white men should continue to be in charge, and his evidence is not well thought out.
He makes outrageous claims about things and then walks them back in a way that gives him weasel room. He is a troll and admits to it. This isn’t anyone to pay attention to, but ignore.
