We both have experience taking drug tests.
I had to take one today and that’s why I am late this morning for a post.
Now if you haven’t taken a drug test, its very hard to be cool taking one. The entire process is awkward. I am not complaining just giving you an idea of what happens.
First you have to come ready to go. Then you are told you have to wait a random amount of time. This is always fun. Sometimes the machine will broken, which adds to your random amount of time. Then when you do do the process there are lots of little things.
You have to give them information that you have already given to the front desk clerk. You give them your paper the front desk printed for you. You confirm the information is correct. They ask for your ID and ask you to verify that the information they have is correct. Oh did I mention that all of this happens in an AC conditioned building during winter? So its cold, and you are put in a bathroom and told to fill the cup to a level they randomly mark on it and more specific instructions.
Then you wash your hands, don’t open the door because you don’t want to contaminate anything, and knock to be let out of the bathroom. You are literally a potty prisoner which is not the first time unfortunately this has happened to me. You sign the cup and put a date with a label on the top, and then the machine starts doing its tests while you are leaving to go. Good times!
Oh if you didn’t fill the cup enough, or if it was too cold, or any other number of unknown and random things you will do this again! Yes!
