Increasingly I have worked for companies in the past few years that have taken security more seriously. I love to be part of that.
One of the most exciting things for me is when the lessons that other companies have learned is something I can share with the current company I am working with. There are things that lead to better security and some vendors are easier and faster to respond.
AI continues to be a thorn in companies security. It is being used against companies and being used to help protect companies. I think that the future of security is in dealing with the AI aspect in a more controlled and intelligent way. Right now its very crude and disappointing how little it is used to protect.
If you aren’t working on security in your company now it is vital that you start this process immediately.
