I used GTMetrix and had to log in because I had checked another website speed today. I hate that they force you to do that.
My site was running as fast as possible given my financial reality. It could theoretically be made faster but at a cost that I could not justify or even makes sense to do.
Why am I sharing this? You have to go back and audit the things you do in IT and make sure things are behaving as they should. Often software as it updates can have unexpected side effects, and by auditing and testing something you make sure things work as intended.
If you have time at work, test that all of your applications are working as they should. I tend to find problems when I do this, and this proactively leads to solutions and increases reliability.
