After I created the last ChatGPT infographic, I thought it might be interesting to see what it could do for a mac infographic. I asked it to do the same thing but for mac.
What happened next is so typical for ChatGPT, it substituted the word Mac in for Windows and basically output the same thing but worse with more misspellings.
If I didn’t know better ChatGPT sometimes has the brain of a genius, and that of a 3rd grader.
So I told it was wrong and to do it again. It recognized it was wrong, but the next attempt was even worse. It correctly changed the color I asked it to, but its suggestions were wrong and they made no sense and they weren’t the top 3.
It didn’t have enough data to complete the request so it guessed wrongly. If ChatGPT has to guess it will be wrong and badly wrong 100% of the time.
Those two other infographics were unusable. Since it takes about a minute to render each one, I gave up and deleted the query.
You have to verify everything that you learn from ChatGPT. It just makes stuff up.
