I asked ChatGPT to make a report today with a flowchart and it said it did. Except it didn’t show the flowchart graphic and when I asked for it to fix it, it said it did and then didn’t show anything.
Now I get it. Graphics in a text field can be complex. If you ask it to create an image it will, so this shouldn’t be rocket science. If rendering fails the first time then just make a jpeg or something and render it that way.
Many times ChatGPT says it can do something and then doesn’t. It doesn’t do it when you ask it multiple times, so you have to give up trying to get it to do what you want. I will try taking the flowchart text it created and see if the Copilot image creation can create a static picture flowchart from that I can just insert.
AI is disappointing, no matter how little you ask it to do.
