I am always curious how much ChatGPT can understand. Yesterday I asked it how many videos were in my music playlist.
It returned the result of how I had sorted the videos on the page and provided a summary of the songs. Pretty good.
Then I asked it to sort music into artists and groups who are black. It provided a partial list. I asked it to sort all of the the list and it broke it down by artists, groups and mashups featuring black artists. It offered to create a downloadable or portable list (CVS or spreadsheet).
I asked what is the total number and it gave me the total number broken down by the categories that I stated before. I have 83 videos currently out of 203 videos total.
Now why did I do this? One I was curious, and two I watched Michael Jackson’s Captain EO video Part of me yesterday. I was touched because as a kid I went to Disneyland and I saw the Captain EO in person and it made a strong impression on me.
That experience of Captain EO was the highlight of being in Disneyland. I found the rest of Disneyland boring. What was so thrilling in that short video I think it was like 20 minutes, is that the feeling you got when watching it and afterwords was inspiring loving feelings of connection with others. It was also entertaining, creative and in 3D! That was new for me and it was a nice touch.
Ever since I was small I seemed to really appreciate music from black artists. I didn’t know they were black, it was the radio. However I knew that I liked it, and later when I saw their videos online I had to smile because so many good songs came from black artists.
Now of course there are creative people from every nationality and color. That’s the other 117 videos. Creativity and meaning comes from inside and you can feel it when they express it. This is one of the gifts of being a Highly Sensitive Person. Culture makes an indelible impression.
