So I did some research on the model of the mouse I bought and it turns out that it was a known issue. Mice with mechanical clickers fail with heavy use, and mine was one of those.
This means that I can buy a mouse with an optical clicker and I should be fine. So now I will do research on optical mice for heavy users.
The trackpad is nice but its not me. I tried it and it doesn’t work for me. Since I play games I will strongly consider a gaming mouse since I have never had one before. That will be interesting and new for me.
What mouse have you found has stood the test of time? Am I just cheap? I don’t like wasting money/resources on things that break.
