Are you perceived as a safe person?

One of my fears is small places. I sometimes struggle riding in a Uber car if it is not an SUV.

Why am I sharing this? To tell you this. The last several times I have had to take an Uber I have asked the driver if I could sit in the front because I am afraid of tight spaces and the back of an SUV feels tight to me. Almost always the drivers have said yes, or I have paid the fee for them to leave and call another cab and cancel the ride.

Now I know that drivers don’t have to do this. It is their choice who the let sit in the front with them. I am glad that I appear safe so that they feel comfortable with letting me sit in the front. In the back I feel trapped and it doesn’t feel good when I feel like I may not be able to exit in an emergency like a car accident.

I have shared before that when I have waited for friends in public, people will come up to me and ask for directions or advice. The same when I go into public or shop in any kind of stores. People come up to me to ask me where things are. It is nice that people trust me, I am just surprised sometimes.

People can sense who you are without saying anything. So don’t say words that people don’t believe anyway. Just be the kind of person you are and let people discover you.
