I wanted to try other desktop environments with my Fedora personal computer I use everyday. I tried some others that were worse than what I had been using, but I think I found the most beautiful theme and that is called the MATE desktop environment.
It looks the most polished and has a beautiful and intuitive interface. It also works with Getscreen.me remote access software that I use so I am thrilled with that.
In fact I am using it now to write this article. If you use a mac and want the closest look on a PC you will want to use Fedora with MATE desktop. It is incredible.
Now being curious I tried other desktop environments of course. Most of them are downright ugly and confusing. When you use an theme like MATE you see how ugly windows is. Windows is the business standard, but its slipping and that day will be better for all of us.
