Companies never consider the customer experience

Remember that Marvel Strike Force game I am playing? I said they were making mistakes, and they continue to do so.

Recently they allowed users to play the game online. I loved this feature and of course deleted the app off of my iPad and played it online. Things were going great at first.

However then they introduced new content and I couldn’t play it. Thinking perhaps it was my browser, I tried 3 other browsers including their Chrome recommended option. I even tried it in Linux and the same behavior. It only worked when it was played on a device.

So let me get this straight. Play it online, then force your users to play it on a device because you didn’t test it or use it on the web? I am seriously losing interest in this game. Ever since I started playing it has had frequent errors, and I thought well nothing is perfect. However I realize now that by being too forgiving you enable people to not be responsible. So I think the days of playing this game are coming to a close for me.

Meanwhile I am really enjoying the other game and the community that is inside of it. I realize that I played that earlier game out of boredom, but I found something better now.
