It surprised me but getting a new projector had more benefits that I realized.
- Shorter throw distance which means closer to the screen. Instead of having the unit further from the screen is it very close to it. Just a few inches. This gives me more space for my desk and makes a larger image than my previous one did.
- Faster game performance/better graphics. I didn’t realize it but the projector was the reason for slow performance on the projector. I thought it was due to the kind of Remote Access tool I was using to connect to the other computer on my home network. Or that my WAP needed to be repositioned. Now my games look amazing and look like new games.
- Meet the neighbors. I gave away my old projector and I meet one of the neighbors and its going to a teacher. So that feels good that students will benefit from something that I couldn’t use anymore.
There are probably more benefits, but I just wanted to share these for now. Almost always there are new advantages when you spend money. Does that take away from the disadvantage of having less money? Not really because I am going to enjoy this for years.
