I think Seth has some interesting points in his post. I couldn’t help but think about my own blogging history and what I have learned about culture. When I started blogging I used to write long posts. Things that I thought people would be interested in I hardly got any page views. Only once I started being less verbose and more appealing what I thought culture wanted, did the page views start to increase.
Sometimes it seems that quality is the polar opposite of quantity. Or perhaps I and other bloggers are just not creating compelling enough content to make people stay.
