“xxx” is a number.
/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate/ (delete entire folder)
Is iChat continually prompting for password?
Probably need to update to the latest 10.6.3 v1.1. This fixed the issue for this gentleman.
Recent Security update causes sluggish response in new computer
This seems to be one case where running Disk Permissions repair solved the issue. Personally I would reapply the combo update instead.
