This is a common issue. macjack has it covered.”Don’t double-click. Just go to your Application Folder in Finder (not from the sidebar) and drag the Application Folder to the right hand side of the Dock.
To get your Sidebar prefs back in Finder menu go to Preferences > Sidebar”

It only takes 5 pages to change the UI to look like a Mac. These instructions are 3 years old, so I would suspect it is easier now. When I find a way I will share it with you.
Microsoft’s Skinput turns hands, arms into buttons
Very cool. I wonder if this would make dancers or ballet more multimedia. Very fun! Microsoft does have some cool projects. Is it just me or has MS seemed less Borg like lately?
Do you have blurry or pixelated icons at random in Finder windows?
There are some suggestions on this thread but nothing that fixed the issue for everyone. Seems to be related to the icon cache. Doesn’t occur if you use safe mode.
