What\’s a retail employee worth to Apple? | TUAW – The Unofficial Apple Weblog. As the article says “each Apple retail employee is probably worth more than half a million dollars to Apple.” Yet Apple only pays retail wages. Perhaps Apple should be considered the Wall Street of computer support. Buy low, sell high.

OS X Lion accepts any LDAP password, creates enterprise network nightmare | TUAW – The Unofficial Apple Weblog. So I wonder if this happens in Apple Open Directory hosted environments as well? That would be a death-blow to using Mac in enterprise environments. Sometimes with things like this, you just get the feeling that Apple isn’t doing any quality control in enterprise setups.

Study finds Macs account for 11% of corporate computers, Windows XP dominates | TUAW – The Unofficial Apple Weblog. I have been seeing this for years. People have gotten sick of using XP, and if they have Windows 7 they seem to prefer Macs. I think that the iPhone has done major work in rehabilitating the opinion of the general public about the functionality of Apple products.
