WPCandy Pros is a ‘reverse job board’ for WordPress professionals – TNW Design. This is an idea that I talked about and posted on the WP forum in the past. I listed myself since using this for several years has made me feel very comfortable with it. I have been so pleased what I have been able to do.

Complete Beginner’s Guide to Information Architecture | UX Booth. This is a good place to get started with how you can design things to help people find them. Remember how difficult it used to be to find a phone number or contact information on a website? Now it is pretty easy. Lubith: A dead-simple tool for creating your WordPress theme – TNW Apps

Unfortunately you can only upload these themes to your own self-hosted WP installation. Still the fact that you can easily create themes is fantastic. I wish that WP.com would buy this company and allow us to make our own themes.

Book Review: Building a WordPress Blog People Want to Read 9780321591937: Scott McNulty: Books

Amazon.com: Building a WordPress Blog People Want to Read 9780321591937: Scott McNulty: Books. I agree with the other commentors that this book would be better titled “How to set up a WordPress Blog.” If that was the case I would not have checked it out. It is two years old and the user interface has changed so much that much of the book is confusing. While it could be helpful for a developer or web designer, it feels frustratingly out of date. I would avoid this book unless you want a very basic walk-through through a WordPress installation. This book fails only now because of the hard work and rapid development of the WordPress platform. At the time the book was new I bet this was a very helpful and time-saving work. If this was updated I would recommend it.
